The owner, Petre Filip, began working in a pizzeria with his mentor, Al, in Purcellville, VA in 1985. When the opportunity arose in 1987, Petre decided to open his own establishment in the same area.
In 1991, Petre closed his business in Purcellville and opened one closer to home in Falling Waters, WV. Later, Petre saw an opportunity to move his business in a more optimal location not far from home.
In 1996, the Clear Spring Al's Pizza was opened. It started off as a small pizza joint in the back of a gas station serving mostly pizzas and subs for takeout. With time, the opportunity to expand the business arose, and Al's Restaurant was born.
On December 1, 2015 Al's Restaurant opened it's doors with an expanded menu and dine in area next door to the old establishment.

Al's has been striving to create a welcoming atmosphere and delicious and fresh cuisine for its customers since the establishment opened in 1987.
The Al's team makes fresh pizza dough and fluffy sub and dinner rolls that distinguish us from other businesses. We strive to use the freshest high-quality ingredients possible.
